who we are

When we began this undertaking on The Land Of Macbeth our intention was to raise the profile of Scotland in that people might be encouraged to visit the area. All things going to plan we might even end up with a nice little business. Little did we know that for two such unqualified but reasonably intelligent people just how massive the task would turn out to be. The sheer depth of Shakespeare's version of Macbeth soon made us wonder at the adviseability of going on, for the amount of variable information on the actual Macbeth and his Scotland convinces us of perhaps just a little madness, just ask our wives.

Add to this the fact that we also thought that we could help a friend launch a new range of biscuits for his business on the site can, I hope, bring back to you some little sanity on our part. What started out as a kind of 'keep two invalids out of mischief' has expanded into a schoolboyish enthusiasm, if one was ever enthusiastic about Shakespeare, as we almost drown in the depths of written knowledge on the subject. The search seems neverending, from phone to web, from web to library, from library to museum,and back to the phone, and before I forget the T.V. thanks to the likes of, and I hope he won't mind, Tony Robinson.
